Following the service on Sunday, November 20th, we will celebrate the bounty of our harvest at our annual Harvest Feast at the library annex. Bring your friends - everybody is welcome!

Save the Date!
Our all-congregation annual retreat will be held on Saturday, October 22nd at the UU Center. Our theme this year is social justice/outreach, and we will collectively brainstorm the ways in which we wish to make a difference in the wider world, whether it be Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, the nation or the world.

The “VBD” (“Very Big Deal”) day is nearly here! This Sunday, September 25 at 3:00 p.m. you are invited to attend “A House for Hope”, a special celebration service to commemorate the UUFCM 10th Anniversary & Building Dedication. This service is jam-packed with wonderful music, memories and tribute, and a few surprises as well. The Rev. Dr. Lisa Presley, the District Executive for the Mid-America Regional District of the UUA will be our keynote speaker. The service will be followed by delectable nosh (including cake!) in our social hall. Childcare will be provided. Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate this fellowship and bless our new home together!

As we stand at the threshold of a new chapter in the story of the UUFCM, we want to reflect back on those who first dreamed of and began the process of creating and growing this congregation, this church. We begin at the only place we can, with the person who first brought this dream forward – our founding minister, Bob Franke.
