Learn - Faith Development

    “The great end in religious instruction . . . is not to stamp our minds irresistibly on the young but to stir up their own; not to make them see with our eyes but to look inquiringly and steadily with their own; not to give them a definite amount of knowledge but to inspire a fervent love of truth; not to form an outward regularity but to touch inward springs . . .”

    ~ William Ellery Channing

Faith Development

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Central Michigan (UUFCM) is a supportive faith community in which you can explore your own spiritual, religious, or ethical path. Our offerings are aimed at furthering the following goals:

  • Sharing our Unitarian Universalist values and exploring other religious traditions;
  • Providing a safe environment for spiritual growth and development;
  • Fostering a community that promotes exploration, joy, and wonder;
  • Modeling and promoting a life of integrity;
  • Supporting each person’s search for truth and meaning
