- About Us
“Hope is the dream of a soul awake.”
Elementary students will be discussing the idea of "Do No Harm," Chapter 11 of the Moral Tales curriculum. Reflecting the sixth Unitarian Universalist Principle, which promotes "the goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all," these lessons draw on the Buddhist and Hindu notion of non-harm, or ahimsa.
The UU College of Social Justice is offering its National Youth Justice Training (NYJT) program, a transformative three-week experience for high-school-aged youth. It will take place in Boston, Mass., June 30-July 21, 2013, and will include interactive social justice education and real-world internships, grounded in Unitarian Universalist values and practices.
