Come join us on the 3rd Wednesday of September at 12:30 in the Fellowship Hall. We will be discussing J. D. Vance's memoir Hillbilly Elegy. He gives the reader his personal perspective of growing up in Appalachia and how this affected the choices he made.
Join us for our First Friday communal nosh! Gisela and Tom Moffit are hosting, with the theme of “New Beginnings” as we are celebrating a new school/academic year, a new minister, and a new season. Try out a “new” recipe or bring your favorite dish. Join us even if you can’t bring anything this time. We’d love to have you. The potluck begins at 6:30 p.m. – helping hands are welcome at 6:15 p.m. to assist with set-up preparations. We will also be celebrating the September birthdays of Jolie Damer, Alicia Genia, Beau Bailey, Carol Messick, Gisela Moffit, and Mairi Devenney.
