We’re a predominantly white religious community in a predominantly white city and county. But what is whiteness? What does understanding it have to do with liberation and working towards racial justice? Can we allow ourselves to be both racists-in-recovery and anti-racists-in-training? How might we learn to love ourselves as people-in-process? What helps us stay engaged in the sacred and messy work of building community across differences, for us and for generations after us?
