To grow restless with who we are helps us move toward our ideals.
Perfection is impossible, but we all have the potential to be more patient,
more compassionate, more open-minded.

Volunteers Needed for Summer RE
Volunteers are needed for our Religious Education program for our children for this summer. We need one adult for each Sunday this summer (June through August). Each Sunday you will be provided with the opening ritual, story or brief lesson, and then the children will work on a related craft or work in the garden we are planting on the east side of the building. No preparation is needed; everything will be written out and provided for you to simply arrive at 10:00 on Sunday morning to look over the plan. As well, you will have a teen helper. Norma Bailey is coordinating this effort, so please contact her (989-560-3952 or email@example.com) or see her at church on Sunday to sign up.

We are again going to march in the Alma Highland Festival Parade on Saturday, May 28 (Memorial Day weekend). While the parade starts at 10:30 and is completed by about 11:30, we would need to be there to line up no later than 10:00.
