COVID Policy
|
Update: February 12, 2023
The board of trustees, with the recommendation of the COVID task force, has voted to relax the mask mandate for singing. Previously masks were required for singing; now masks are optional. The risk of COVID is relatively low at this time, as well as the risk of flu. These diseases, of course, continue to be present in the community and do pose a health risk to older people and people with compromised immune systems. Everyone is encouraged to make good health choices to reduce their risk of COVID, flu, colds, and other contagious diseases. These include appropriate vaccinations and boosters, frequent hand washing, and masking when appropriate. The UUFCM and its leaders do their best to set COVID policies that respond to changes in public health, balancing the risk of disease with the reward of gathering together. We are committed to making as many UUFCM events as possible available on Zoom as well. |
