Congratulations Eric and Drew!

6/28/2023

Rev. Eric Severson of the UU Fellowship of Midland and Rev. Drew Frantz of the UU Fellowship of Central Michigan were both recognized for achieving Full Fellowship at General Assembly last week. This level of professional credential is granted to ministers with at least three years experience after yearly evaluation and reflection that includes the minister, Board of Trustees, Shared Ministry Team, and the credentialing committee of the Unitarian Universalist Association.

Would You Like to Attend General Assembly This Year?

2/22/2023

General Assembly, the annual gathering of our Unitarian Universalist faith, this year will be June 21-25 in person in Pittsburgh or virtually. We have some donated leadership funds that can support attendance, so if you are interested in attending as a visitor or as our UUFCM delegate, either in person or virtually, contact Stacey Pattison ([email protected]).

General Assembly Voting Discussion

6/16/2022

Immediately following the service this Sunday, June 19, Jim Dealing and Dave Macleod invite you to join a discussion session either in-person or via Zoom to gather input from our congregation. They will provide information about an important bylaw proposal and a challenge to the process of nominations for the UUA Board that they will be voting on as our delegates.

For more information, please refer to this document.

Attend GA!

2/15/2022

General Assembly (GA) is the annual meeting of our Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA). Each year UUs gather from across the United States and the world to learn, worship, and conduct the business of the Association through workshops, lectures, events, and worship services. This year’s GA will be held virtually and in-person in Portland Oregon June 22-26 with the theme “Meet the Moment: Reimagining Radical Faith Community.”

If you have never been to a GA, the Board is willing to pay for members to participate virtually using our Leadership Development Funds. If you are interested, please contact Norma Bailey ([email protected]) for further information, and visit the UUA website to learn more. Of course, if you have attended before, loved it, and found it to be a valuable experience, we encourage you to attend; because GA is virtual again this year, the registration fee is relatively inexpensive at $250.
