Please join us in the UUFCM Fellowship Hall at 6:30pm (doors open at 6:15) for food, conversation, and games! Coffee, hot tea, and water will be provided. If you are able, please bring a dish to pass.
This orientation is geared to newcomers, visitors, and those seeking to learn more about Unitarian Universalism and this UU fellowship. It is offered every month both in person in the fellowship hall and via Zoom, typically on the last Sunday at 12:30 pm. Sessions run approximately an hour and a half. Please let Laura know whether you will be attending via Zoom or in person by the Friday prior to the orientation.
For more info or to register for Welcome to UU, contact: Laura McBride at 989.772.5512 or Lmcbride010@gmail.com Thanks to everyone who helped in our effort to get new postal addresses, phone numbers, emails, pronoun preferences and photos into our 2024 Directory. It is now available online. The password has not been changed. If you can't remember it, contact Gisela Moffit. Hard copies will be available at the church. If you find an error in your entry, let Gisela at gbmoffit@gmail.com or our Administrator, Wendy at admin@uufcm.org, know so that it will be accurate.
The 2024 Community Justice Party on Saturday, February 17, was well-done and well-received! Thanks to everyone who performed – amazing talent in our congregation! Thanks to everyone who attended – your enthusiastic responses were so appreciated by the performers! Thanks to Jen Prout for her social justice music for the party! Thanks to those of you who donated cakes for the cake walk! And thanks to the Social Justice Team who put lots of hours preparing the party for us – Norma Bailey, Joyce Henricks, Kelly Lawson, Gisela Moffit, and Katie Zapoluch! As well, the local League of Women Voters also thanks everyone as we were able to send them a check for $300 as a donation from the party proceeds! Such generosity!
