- Gutters cleaned (2-3 people): needs to happen before July 6, 2018
- July 6th or August 3rd, prior to the potluck: do you want to work up an appetite? Please consider helping out with a few summer cleaning chores:
- Trimming bushes
- Edging the lawn around the sidewalks
- Window cleaning
- Flower garden – weeds, trash, etc.
It is time to start thinking about spring cleaning in the summer! Please consider helping out with the following summer cleaning opportunities:
James Hatcher responded to the call to co-manage our building and grounds together with Terrie Robbie who volunteered already a couple of months ago. We are so pleased that they stepped up and want to thank them for their support and dedication to our fellowship. If you notice things in the building that need their attention (repairs, paint, scuffs, dirt spots, non working items) contact either one of them (Terrie at 989-400-2495; firstname.lastname@example.org or James at 989-644-2816; email@example.com).
We are happy that Kris Los will continue as kitchen manager and supply purchaser. Leave messages for her in the kitchen on the clipboard when we need to refill kitchen and bathroom supplies. We also want to express our deepest gratitude to Kris who has been doing these tasks for several years thus guaranteeing that life behind the scenes runs smoothl
On Saturday, June 14 from 10 - 1 p.m. you will have the opportunity to do just that. We will be cleaning our building (washing windows, foot boards, removing stains, etc.). Please bring pails and rags/sponges/squeegees if you have them and a step ladder (if you are short like me). We'll have all the cleaning supplies! For more information, contact Gisela (firstname.lastname@example.org). Don't miss your chance to beautify the building and have fun doing it!
The outside of the UU Center is looking noticeably better because of the hard work of Glen, Capalene, Kai, Phil, Chris B., Sandra W., Jim D., and Tom. We are not quite finished outside (is outside work ever finished?) and need to add some more plants and bushes, but a lot was done and we are all the better for it. Thanks to all the excellent workers!
Are you missing sunglasses, your favorite lasagna pan, or your child's toy? Or anything else? If so, please check our Lost and Found Box in the Social Hall this Sunday. You might be surprised!
