Sunday Services

Flower Communion is a special ritual celebrated by Unitarian Universalists around the world. If you are able, please bring a flower to share for the service—we will have extras available as well. During the ritual, each person places a flower in a common vase to symbolize what they bring to the congregation, and at the end of the service, each person takes home a different flower to represent what they receive from the community. Please join us!

June is Pride Month, a time to celebrate the diversity of gender and sexuality in our human community and to advocate for equality and inclusion. These commitments are central to Unitarian Universalism and especially important in a time when LGBTQ+ people continue to face threats and exclusion.

Welcome to summer worship at UUFCM! Our summer services will be a bit shorter, while still including a hymn, chalice lighting and extinguishing, sharing of joys and sorrows, and an offertory. There will be no Story for All Ages during the summer; instead, children will go directly with childcare staff at 10:30.

Each Sunday, a different member of the congregation will offer a brief reflection on the question: "What does being an American mean to you?" Following the reflection, we’ll open the service for discussion.
