    (906 Glen Ave., Mt. Pleasant).
  • We work on our own projects (sewing, knitting, crocheting,
    fiber projects etc.) and have a good time talking about our lives,
    our ups and downs and hopes and dreams. We share a wealth of
    ​information with one another.

  • We grab some lunch and chat. Our purpose is to get to know each other, to share stories, to laugh and occasionally to cry on each other’s shoulders.

  • Tuesdays at 6:45 p.m., in the Sanctuary at UUFCM. Meditation begins at 7 p.m. sharp, so it is important to come a bit early.
  • The purpose of the group is provide mutual support, guidance and inspiration in Buddhism-based meditation practice. During meetings we do sitting meditation, optional walking meditation, a small amount of chanting, and discussion of a collaboratively chosen text. Discussion is led by someone different each week.

  • Each month, we read a play aloud. Roles are assigned and scripts are available about ten days before meeting. No memorization required, but reading play prior to “performance” is strongly advised. Other amount of preparation left to participants. Satisfy your inner actor!

  • 1st Fridays at 6:30 p.m. in the Social Hall at UUFCM.
  • Enjoy good company and a variety of new dishes! You have the opportunity to share one of your favorites. Afterwards people play board games (but only if you want to) in a very laid back environment. We also sing Happy Birthday to the people celebrating theirs in that month. We have a lot of fun. Everyone is invited, including children.

CUUPs Covenant of the Blazing Star   In-Person

  • We meet 8 times a year to celebrate the 8 Sabbats: Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lammas, Mabon, Samhain, and, Yule. We generally meet at 7:00 p.m. on the Sunday closest to the day of the Sabbat.
  • We gather to celebrate the Pagan Rituals mentioned above. We meet in fellowship and have a small potluck meal after each ritual. We support each other and commune with each other. This is an open group - anyone is welcome to participate. The potluck is suspended until further notice.
