Never a "person in the pew" to use Meg Riley's story; ask me and I'll tell it to you. A girlfriend's moms told me about UU years before I was able to step into my first UU church. I have many different connections to the UU world, including being the only voice on the Facebook page for Leather & Grace UUs For BDSM Awareness. I understand my world through multiple identity labels – including but not limited to Bipolar, Autistic, Bisexual, Polyamorous, Demi-romantic, Noetisexual. My cradle UU daughter led me from Norse paganism to atheism, which I stepped from to humanism- the question is irrelevant. And she did ask me to write hers – I'm an author after all – but I told her she could handle a few sentences.
