You know that saying “some people are born on third base and think they hit a triple?” What happens when the family's patriarch decides his offspring need to realize that he hit the triple and they need to step into the batter box. Join us on Saturday, June 24 at 7pm to watch this star-studded cast including Daniel Craig, Christopher Plummer, Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ana De Armas, and others in Knives Out.

Movie Night - May 27

Jazz music is at its height and kids all over are enjoying it. The lively dance moves reflects the energy of the music. Under Nazi rule, the music is banned. But kids will be kids and will find ways around this regardless of the severe penalty. Join us on Saturday, May 27 at 7pm to watch Swing Kids, a movie based on actual events.

Movie Night for Adults and Children

April 22 at 6:30pm

To honor Earth Day, our April movie for adults will be Dark Waters. It is based on the true story of a lawyer taking on the chemical company Dupont, who knowingly dumped a forever chemical compound in the West Virginia water supply that caused birth defects and deaths. If you enjoyed Erin Brockovich, Dark Waters is in the same vein.

While the adults are watching their movie, the Youth RE program will be showing The Lorax in the sanctuary.

If you want someone to do something,  tell them not to do it. Don't Look Up is our movie for February. Meryl Streep leads this all-star cast. We are streaming this movie and if by some chance we can't get it, a backup DVD will be shown. Our thanks to Stacey for helping with this. Join us! Snacks will be provided.

The definition of laundromat is “a self-operated, coin-operated washer and dryer system” right? Well, maybe not, especially when it involves Meryl Streep, Gary Oldman, and Antonio Banderas. Join us at 7pm on January 28 for the movie The Laundromat, and see how the “dirty laundry” gets cleaned. This movie is based on true events and does have some strong language. Snacks are provided.
