The Zoom call starts at 10:00 for social time, and the service starts at 10:30.   “Perhaps human life has no universal, intrinsic meaning. Yet we have a fundamental need for meaning in the face of loss, trauma, and death. The construction of meaning is a much better way to frame our lives than the pursuit of happiness. Grief Support Group Forming For those of us who have experienced or are experiencing grief, Drew is offering a grief support group that will be starting soon. Please let him know if you are interested, and he will use your input to decide what day and time the meetings will be held. This support group is for any kind of grieving – the loss of a loved one, grief related to the pandemic, or anything else. Support CMU Public Radio and UUFCM! Please consider donating to CMU Public Radio by November 30. We pool our donations annually to “buy” some radio air time. Last year we gathered about $1200, which gave us two spots every second week. Write your check to CMU Public Media, and send it to Mary Alsager at 1311 E. Broadway, Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858. Soulful Sundown - Post-Election Healing -  Thursday, November 5 Join us on the first Thursday of the month for an uplifting service of songs, drumming, poetry, and reflection, beginning at 7 p.m. All are welcome: all ages, all genders, colors, beliefs. Join us via Zoom. Coffee House Open Mic - November 6 Bring your favorite beverage and join us for a virtual coffee house on the first Friday of the month at 7pm. We will follow an open mic format: anyone can share some music or poetry. Aim for 5 minutes for your song or poem.
