I am grateful for what I am and have. My thanksgiving is perpetual.
~ Henry David Thoreau
Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! To our annual Harvest Feast Goddess (or “Feast Beast” as she prefers) Laura McBride and all the helping hands – especially those of Kris Los, Brigitte Bechtold, George Lentz, and Jen Prout – plus Norma Bailey and our youth worship associates Josh Daniels, Chiron Finn, and Izzy Rollins – and our musicians Reed Sladek, Tolby Busch, and Roman Damer-Daigle – in addition to all the volunteers that helped with set-up, provided tasty dishes, and did the grunt work of clean-up – a huge thank you one and all for making our annual Harvest Feast so very wonderful. | … and thanks to Stacey Pattison for pictures too! |
Join us this coming post-Thanksgiving Sunday for worship and our minister’s message titled “On Covenant…Activated.”
“We are bound by covenant, each to each and each to all, by what theologian Rebecca Parker calls “freely chosen and life-sustaining interdependence.” [So] The central question for us is not, “What do we believe?” but more, “What do we believe in? To what larger love, to what people, principles, values, and dreams shall we be committed? To whom, to what, are we accountable?” ~ Victoria Safford

Norma Bailey will be collecting any remaining donations. You can read more about Guest at Your Table here.
