| We had a fun-filled morning at Sunday’s RE Kickoff as we celebrated the beginning of this year’s RE Program with tasty snacks, get-to-know you games, arts and crafts, and lots of balloons! Children can be registered at any time during the year, so no worries if your child(ren) were not able to make it to Sunday’s event. Off to a great start for the 2018-2019 RE Program! |  |
 Despite the cooler weather, last Sunday's Water Festival was a great way to add a splash of fun for kids and those young-at-heart after service. Lots of water balloons, relay-races, bubbles, and laughter made our festival a blast for all who participated!
A Water Festival is being held for children (and those young at heart) this Sunday, September 9 after service! There will be a water-balloon toss, water bucket competition, and other fun water-themed activities. Feel free to wear a swimsuit if you are determined to get wet! We mark the start of a new year for the RE program with our RE Kickoff on September 16! After children leave service at the regular time, they are invited to enjoy games, crafts, and snacks in celebration of another year of RE. My name is Kendra Peffers and I am the new UUFCM Director of Religious Education (DRE). Originally from Okemos, Michigan, I came up to Mount Pleasant to major in Communication Sciences and Disorders at CMU. Whenever I'm not studying or planning curricula for our RE program, I love to read, be outside, and have movie nights with my roommates. I also love children, which is one of the reasons why I am so looking forward to this coming year as UUFCM's new DRE.
