OWL Parent Meeting – We will be offering Our Whole Lives, a comprehensive human sexuality program for grades 7th-high school, otherwise known as OWL, in October. Any parent with a child in this age range is highly encouraged to attend this informational meeting with our teaching staff. This class is open to the public. Invite your friends! Sunday, October 4, 10:30 a.m. Service
Children’s Chapel Sunday – Children and Youth will report directly to RE classes. Children aged 4 and under will meet in our Nursery. All other children will convene in the RE classroom. We will be discussing seasonal and inspirational stories and customs from home. We would like items representative of your family's fall customs (books, photos, decorations) for temporary display after this service.
Sunday Night RE 4-5:30 p.m. – Honoring the Ancestors (Ages 6-teen)
We will be taking a trip to the cemetery to honor those who have gone before us. We will make explore the headstones and make gravestone rubbings. Afterward we will return to the fellowship for a snack and discussion.
UUth Ensemble 6-6:30 p.m. (Ages 6-teen) – UUth Ensemble is our newly renamed children's choir, now a more comprehensive music experience, including instrumental music. If you play an instrument, please bring it with you.
Friday, October 9, 5-8 p.m.
Trip to Papa’s Pumpkin Patch – We will be meeting at Papa’s for a hayride, pumpkin picking, followed by cider and fresh donuts. Please join us for seasonal fun. Contact Roze Bentley to arrange rides, if necessary. (989-400-7674)
