CMU is inviting community members to attend the Soup and Substance lunch on Tuesday, October 10, at the UC Rotunda from 12:00-1:00 pm. Dr. Maureen Eke is presenting “At the Intersection of History, Dispora and Civil Rights: Tess Onwueme’s Riots in Heaven.”
Several of us from UUFCM, along with a CMU graduate student from India, marched in the Martin Luther King Peace March on Monday, January 16, carrying our UUFCM banner. After the wet (!) march, we walked to the Fellowship Hall for hot chocolate and a time of reflection. See the Minister’s Column for Rev. Drew’s reflection on the march.
