The May special collection on Sunday, May 19 is for the Isabella County Child Advocacy Center. ICCAC is a non-profit agency that focuses on the safety of children by providing services to strengthen families through forensic interviews, advocacy, and prevention education. ICCAC staff provides community outreach and prevention education for families and children in an effort to eliminate child abuse and neglect. If you prefer to write a check, please address it to: ICCAC.
Women’s Aid Service is holding its annual fundraiser, The Chocolate Fantasy, at 5:00 on Friday, October 20. For those not familiar with the agency, WAS provides shelter, counseling, and legal aid for victims, and their children, of domestic violence and sexual assault.
