The January special collection on Sunday, January 16, is for the Isabella County Restoration House, the agency providing temporary shelter for their guests - the homeless population in Isabella County. In addition to providing dinner and overnight housing, ICRH also provides a day center so that their guests can get out of the cold during the day. You can donate online to the Social Justice Fund at our website or checks can be sent to our treasurer made out to UUFCM with “ICRHs” indicated in the memo line.
As UUFCM, we have signed up to provide a holiday gift for one of this year’s guests at the ICRH homeless shelter. If you would like to donate $5 toward Mark’s gift (gas cards), please contact Norma Bailey (firstname.lastname@example.org) by Sunday, December 19.
The UUFCM will be providing dinners for the shelter guests at St. John’s Episcopal Church on Tuesday, November 16, and Friday, November 19. If you are interested in participating, please contact Joyce Henricks (Joyce.email@example.com).
