Chippewa Watershed Conservancy

As part of our efforts to support environmental issues, the Social Justice Coordinating Team encourages you to become supporters/members of the Chippewa Watershed Conservancy. The Conservancy has permanently protected over 5,300 acres of critical wildlife habitat, natural space and quiet places to explore. These places preserve air and water quality, provide a setting for outdoor recreational opportunities and protect habitat for hundreds of wildlife species. There are 22 preserves and natural areas within short driving distance of Mt. Pleasant – great places for quiet contemplation and sharing with our children.
