Saturday, March 21 from 9am-1:30pm, on the first floor of the Engineering & Technology building Central Michigan University and the local chapter of Citizens Climate Lobby (CCL) are sponsoring a Central Michigan Climate Solutions Summit. This is a great opportunity for us to find out what is being done locally and nationally to implement climate solutions, as well as provide us to make connections and network with others. The keynote speaker is Dr. Andy Hoffman, the Holcim Professor of Sustainable Enterprise at Ross School of Business & School for Environment and Sustainability at U of M, and all reports indicate he is superb! The event is free, but you need to register to learn more about the event’s schedule and so that they know the number of lunches to order. Let’s get a group of us to attend together so that we will be a more informed and inspired people! For more information about the conference and how to participate, download the Call for Participation flyer. |
