Help Maintain Our Voting Rights!

Now is the time for all of us to do our part so that our constitutional right to vote is not in any way limited. What can you do?

• Educate yourself. Using this summary of the proposed 39 bills, educate yourself about their content and then share that information with our family members and friends.
• You can financially support or volunteer for any of the coalition of organizations working to counter these bills – the NAACP, the ACLU, Promote the Vote, Voters Not Politicians, and our own UUA and MUUSJN.
• Contact our 33rd Michigan Senate District Senator Rick Outman ([email protected]) sharing your concerns.
• Sign up for Voters Not Politicians’ “Dial for Democracy” action. They alert you when legislative action is going to occur in Lansing and give you talking points and the link to send your message. Super easy – it takes ten minutes to complete – and it makes a difference!
