Lights for Liberty Vigil - A Vigil to End Human Detention Camps

Seventy-four people from a number of faiths gathered together at the UUFCM on Friday, July 12, joining with thousands of Americans across the country to protest against the inhumane actions of our government toward the refugees at the southern border and in solidarity with the immigrants who have chosen to come here, whether out of economic necessity or from fear for their lives in their homeland.  Several people shared their thoughts and we sang in celebration of our unified beliefs about how we should treat one another in our country.
