Our fellowship is a member of the Michigan Unitarian Universalist Social Justice Network (MUUSJN), a statewide network of people from 27 Michigan UU congregations and fellowships who work together for justice. The Network promotes legislative change by working in coalitions, organizing action alerts, conferences, e-newsletters, and a dynamic website.
MUUSJN has a solid track record of achievement, mobilizing faith values in the last 12 years to impact public policies through advocacy, education and public witness on many issues: health reform, GLBT rights, immigration reform, poverty/economic justice, reproductive justice, environment, raising the minimum wage, gun violence prevention, and prison reform.
Several of UUFCM's members and friends are also individual members of MUUSJN, and if you are interested in becoming a member, please contact Norma Bailey at 989-560-3952 or [email protected].
