Poetry is one of the highest forms of human expression, and is well-suited to emotional and spiritual subjects. Any poem can be a sacred text if the reader finds deep truth and meaning there. In celebration of April as National Poetry Month, and in the spirit of the monthly worship theme of Awakening, we will share poems that inspire us and call us to greater awareness.
