June 2: Renewal Rev. Drew Frantz As school ends and summer begins, some of us seek renewal in vacation time. This month our denomination is voting on renewing its central statement of values and covenants. This season is one of renewal in the natural world and in the gardens that we tend. What is being renewed in your life? What old growth has to be pruned away to make space for that renewal? | Join Zoom Meeting Meeting ID: 402489218 One tap mobile +16468769923,,402489218# Phone - audio only +1 646 876 9923 |
June 9: Flower Communion Rev. Drew Frantz The special ritual of Flower Communion is celebrated by Unitarian Universalists everywhere. All are invited to bring a flower to the service if you can (we will have extras to share). Each person places a flower in the common vase to represent what you bring to the congregation; at the end, each person takes home a different flower to represent what you receive from the congregation. On this day we will also celebrate graduates in our congregation, and welcome new members who are signing the membership book.

June 16: Summer Reflection Norma Bailey Welcome to summer! Summer worship will be different and somewhat shorter; we will still have a hymn, chalice lighting and extinguishing, sharing of joys and sorrows, and an offertory. However, each Sunday a different member of the congregation will briefly reflect on one of the following prompts: “What I would have done differently in my life” OR “What I wish I would have known as a younger person,” and then we will open up discussion in response to their reflection. We hope you will join us each Sunday for our summer worship series, which runs through August 11. | Join Zoom Meeting Meeting ID: 402489218 One tap mobile +16468769923,,402489218# Phone - audio only +1 646 876 9923 |
Rev. Molly Gordon (UU Church of Columbia)
The building will be closed Sunday morning, June 23. We will not meet in person at the Fellowship.
Join us virtually for the largest annual gathering of UUs joining in worship. This powerful, communal worship experience will stream on Sunday, June 23, at 1:00pm. Rev. Molly Gordon (Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbia, MO) will lead "Weaving Our Lives."
"We are all tangled up together in a great web of life that is woven with beauty and hardship, love and loss, thriving and struggle. How do we tend well to the weaving so that all of us are held in care?"
