June 28 - UUA General Assembly Sunday Worship

This week we will join the livestream of the UUA General Assembly worship service at 10am. Click the link below to watch with UUs all over the world!

The video stream will start about 10 minutes before service begins, but it will just be a slide and music until the start time. If you would like to watch a bit later, the service will be posted at uua.org a bit after 2pm.

June 21: Summer Series

This week’s topic:
“What do you foresee the new normal will be in our lives (pandemic, Black Lives Matter)?

When Drew is not with us this summer, our worship services will be different, more interactive and intimate, giving us a chance to get to know one another better, similar to what we engaged in last year. After the lighting of the chalice and honoring our joys and concerns, each week, in small random groups, we will engage in discussion of a topic announced in advance – announced the week before in service, here on the website, and in the e-News. After the discussion time, the services will close with a song and a closing benediction. We encourage you to join us!

“What has changed for you compared to last year at this time?”
“What brings joy in a world that is turbulent?”

What does compassion look like in action? What does compassion look like in this moment of global pandemic? If we consider compassion as an awakening to others and their humanity, the only path to this awakening is through knowing ourselves first: acknowledging our own feelings and loving ourselves through them.
