May 7: Creativity in Art

The creative instinct in each one of us is the divine spark, as we connect to the great creative force in the universe that some call God. As Julia Cameron says, “We are meant to continue creativity by being creative ourselves. This is the God-force extending itself through us.” Famous artists as well as the rest of us have creativity within, and giving expression to that creativity is a satisfying and necessary part of human life.
