Our caring committee, Arms Around, is looking for a few people who would be able to take recuperating people to their doctor or PT appointments. If you have a car and are available during week days, let Gisela know (989-772-1602; [email protected]). While we don’t have very many requests, we would like to have a list of several people available who could provide such a service. Thank you for your consideration.
This is the last call to attend the MidAmerica Regional Assembly which will be held in St. Louis, Missouri, April 5-7, 2019. The keynote address will be presented by UUA President, Susan Frederick-Gray, and there will be multiple workshops. If you are interested in attending (with support from the Fellowship), contact Norma Bailey at 989-560-3952; [email protected]) no later than Sunday, February 17.
On the third Sunday of every month – immediately following our worship service – the UUFCM Board holds a brief Fellowship Life meeting to update the congregation on current happenings, plans and/or concerns within the congregation. The intention is for the meetings to be kept brief; the hope is for extended conversation to take place following the meeting during the coffee hour time. Please plan to attend.
This Sunday’s meeting will include the budget hearing for our 2019-2020 budget and an announcement of the format for the stewardship drive. This budget hearing allows all members and friends to ask questions and/or make comments about the proposed budget. |
