The 2nd of the harvest festivals, Mabon is the second time of the year to specifically commune with nature. The autumn equinox focuses on the cooler aspects than the summer solstice does. The festival is represented by the harvest of corn, along with the other products in your garden that are ready to be harvested. We invite those of you who are interested in participating. We will hold the ritual promptly at 6pm, in hybrid format (in-person/Zoom) and there will be no potluck. |
The Mt. Pleasant community is invited to attend the 38th Annual Saginaw Chippewa Powwow on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, July 29, 30, and 31 at the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Campground on East Tomah Road. We encourage our members and friends to attend this last event in our series of activities for Native American learning, understanding, and appreciation. We also invite you to gather for reflection with Drew on Sunday at 7pm at the fellowship and online. Download the flyer, or see the website for further information.
