We had an excellent first annual UUFCM picnic on Sunday, August 15! Besides the delicious summer picnic food (burgers, dogs, and salads), there were desserts to satisfy any sweet tooth multiple times! Laura McBride, Chris Bailey, and Jim Dealing shared their memories of Bob Franke, our founding minister, as we began our celebration of our 20-year history. Our heartfelt thanks go to Kris Los, Jen Prout, and Annette Pratt for organizing the picnic, preparing the food, and cleaning up afterward.  As we spruce up the UU Center for in-person services, we have had the Fellowship Hall floor cleaned and waxed and refinished the stage area in the sanctuary. To prepare the stage, it was necessary to remove the piano. A great thank you to Rich, Nathan and Richie Los, Aaron Jones, and Daniel Davis for lending us their muscles to move the piano twice, once down and once up!  While the board of trustees has approved policies for Fellowship gatherings as we seek to reconnect in person safely, please be aware that the situation is fluid. We are monitoring the situation frequently, so please stay tuned for updates.
