Holiday Tea Plans

This year’s Holiday Tea will take place on Sunday, February 13 in the comfort of our own homes and spaces! Since we’re holding our “Tea” in February this year we’ve chosen a Mardi Gras theme – thank you to Annette Pratt for purchasing Mardi Gras shaped cookie cutters! Annette Pratt, Kris Los, and Jen Prout will be baking cookies for everyone. The idea is to enjoy them with tea or your favorite beverage during coffee hour after service. We would like to deliver them to you on Saturday, February 12. Please contact Kris Los at 989-429-0425 or Jen Prout at 989-400-3130 by phone or text and let us know where to deliver your cookies. If you’d rather pick them up yourself, or if you need gluten-free cookies, please contact Annette Pratt at 989-400-0173. Please contact us by Thursday, February 10 so we can plan everything out. Holiday Tea 2019

The Holiday Tea was delightful and enjoyed by many! Thank you to everyone who attended, brought in sweets and savories, there was a lot of deliciousness to enjoy along with a wide variety of teas. Thank you to Annette the Queen of Tea, Carol the Fountain of Fun Hats, Brigette the Helper Extraordinaire and to everyone who lent a helping hand.

Our worship service this Sunday will be followed immediately by our annual “Holiday Tea & Sweets” gathering which this year will be held in the Library Annex to help us better accommodate everyone. If you haven’t already signed up to bring something (cookies, cake, bar cookies, candies, etc.) and would still like to do so, please contact Jen Prout (989-400-3130; [email protected]) – she will answer any questions you may have. And please remember to bring your platter of goodies to the Annex before the service.

Holiday Tea - Sunday, December 10

Please sign up to bring a sweet treat (cookies, cake, bar cookies, candies, etc. to enjoy with several teas, coffee, and cocoa. Sign up sheets will be available in the social hall. The tables will be decorated with the colors of the season while we visit in our fellowship hall. The more goodies provided, the sweeter the sharing!
