Rev. Eric Severson of the UU Fellowship of Midland and Rev. Drew Frantz of the UU Fellowship of Central Michigan were both recognized for achieving Full Fellowship at General Assembly last week. This level of professional credential is granted to ministers with at least three years experience after yearly evaluation and reflection that includes the minister, Board of Trustees, Shared Ministry Team, and the credentialing committee of the Unitarian Universalist Association. |
Immediately following the service this Sunday, June 19, Jim Dealing and Dave Macleod invite you to join a discussion session either in-person or via Zoom to gather input from our congregation. They will provide information about an important bylaw proposal and a challenge to the process of nominations for the UUA Board that they will be voting on as our delegates.
For more information, please refer to this document.
If you have never been to a GA, the Board is willing to pay for members to participate virtually using our Leadership Development Funds. If you are interested, please contact Norma Bailey ([email protected]) for further information, and visit the UUA website to learn more. Of course, if you have attended before, loved it, and found it to be a valuable experience, we encourage you to attend; because GA is virtual again this year, the registration fee is relatively inexpensive at $250.
