| Don Rust, beloved member of our Fellowship, passed away on Monday, November 21 at age 88. Don and his wife Sharon have been members of UUFCM since 2005. Many of us remember Don for his sense of humor and his participation in the Reader's Theatre group. A full obituary for Don may be found here. A memorial service will be held in our sanctuary on Saturday December 10 at 1:00 p.m. Please join Sharon and the family if you are able, and bring a favorite story of Don to share. This workshop is designed for those who want to understand the membership commitment to UUFCM. In this one and a half hour interactive session, we explore the deeper meanings and expectations of membership and shared ministry. We are once again collecting for CMU Public Media. In the fall, we pool our resources together in order to purchase air time on CMU Public Radio. Depending on the amount gathered, we get 1-2 ads per week for a good part of the year. Please make your check to “UUFCM,” include in the memo line “for CMU Public Media” and give it to Mary Alsager at church by December 4.
