We are once again collecting for CMU Public Media. In the fall, we pool our resources together in order to purchase air time on CMU Public Radio. Depending on the amount gathered, we get 1-2 ads per week for a good part of the year. Please make your check to “CMU Public Media” and give it to Mary Alsager. Together we do great things!

The film chronicles the rampant voter suppression that affected the outcome of the 2018 midterm election in Georgia and the threat it poses to our elections all across the nation in 2020. We will also have available materials for people to register to vote and to apply for an absentee ballot. Bring friends and family members to view the film and engage in this important conversation.
This workshop is designed for those who are ready to make the membership commitment to UUFCM. In this interactive session we explore the deeper meanings and expectations of membership and shared ministry; it is a three-hour* session on designated Saturdays (*depending on the size of the group – may be a shorter timeframe if a small group). Refreshments and childcare will be provided. Please let us know one week prior to the class if you need childcare.
