General Assembly Delegates Needed!

The General Assembly for the Unitarian Universalist Association is June 22-26 in Columbus, Ohio! This is the closest its been in awhile. We need one more person to represent us at Plenary meetings as a delegate. Please contact Annette Pratt for more information (ampratt@cybersingerscafe.com or 989-400-0173).

UUFCM Annual Meeting - Sunday, May 15

The presence of all members of the congregation is requested by the Board of Trustees at the Annual Meeting of the Congregation, which will be held on Sunday May 15, 2016, at 12:00 p.m. – following our Flower Communion Service.

According to our bylaws, certain positions must be filled at the annual meeting. The congregation must also approve the budget for the upcoming church year, which begins on July 1st. A majority of members must be present for business to be conducted, so please plan to attend! If you cannot attend, please appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf, in writing or via email (which they will need to print and bring to the meeting). Annual Meeting is also a time when we honor the service of our many volunteers.

The Annual Meeting is a special event in the life of a congregation, so to celebrate, we plan to break bread together with a community luncheon immediately following the meeting. Sign-up sheets will be made available this Sunday, May 8..

Fellowship Life Meeting - This Sunday

Once a month we gather after worship to briefly discuss current happenings as well as upcoming issues of importance to the congregation. The topics for this Sunday are the upcoming Annual Meeting, the selection of General Assembly delegates and the May Clean-Up Day.
