The annual Holiday Tea & Nosh is scheduled for Sunday, December 14th, 2014. If you have suggestions for a theme of this tradition, please let Laura McBride know by November 30th or she will pick. She is considering table decorations of switches and lumps of coals. To prevent this, share your ideas, please! Ideas include: tables decorated by various families, individuals, or friends (snowpeople, villages, Grinch, ornaments), color theme (silver, gold, red, green, blue) for each table, or faith based decorations (Hannukah, Christmas, Solstice, Kwanzaa). Share your ideas with Laura McBride, Social Fun Diva at 989.772.5512 or [email protected].

Please join us as we explore these important questions at an all-congregation mini-retreat on Saturday, December 6, from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. The workshop will be from 9-12 followed by a soup and bread luncheon from 12-1. All members and friends are invited to add their voice to this important discussion. UUFCM’s Harvest Feast 2014 will be here before you know it! We will be sharing our annual meal of thanksgiving on Sunday, November 23, 2014 immediately following the service. We will be convening for the meal in the Library Annex next door. Please sign up to provide a dish to share and/or help with setting up or cleaning up. We look forward to sharing this beloved tradition. Sign ups include:
