This orientation is geared to newcomers, visitors, and those seeking to learn more about Unitarian Universalism and this UU fellowship. It is offered every month on the fourth Sunday at 12:15 p.m.
Sessions are approximately ninety minutes. This is the first in a series of three steps to membership at the UUFCM. For complete information, please visit our website at uufcm.org/membership. UUFCM has an AED! This is an Automatic External Defibrillator that can be used in the event of a cardiac arrest anyone – yes, you –can use this to save a life. It is located in its own box on the wall to the left as you start down the stairs to the restrooms. Whether you were able to attend the mini-training session after worship this past Sunday or not, please view this video and spend 6-7 minutes becoming familiar with our HeartSmart AED and its use.
The “Path to Membership” class which had to be cancelled in February will be offered on Sunday, March 16th at 1:00 p.m. at the UU Center. If you are interested in learning more about the history of Unitarianism and Universalism, the history of our fellowship, our 7 Principles, governance structure and how you can get involved to make a difference, come to this special event. Rev. Joe Cleveland and Membership chair Gisela Moffit will be the facilitators. Contact them if you are coming and if you need child care by March 9th.
