Youth RE Team Looking for a Book Shelf

Bookshelf in the Fellowship Hall

The new bookshelf in the Fellowship Hall is designed for us to share books with one another! Our intent is to populate the bookshelf with a variety of books; suggestions are books about Unitarian Universalism, all religions, social justice topics, poetry and banned books (not encouraging romance and mystery novels, nor magazines, for example). The book share system is easy – if you have a book to share, put it on the shelf, and if you want to take a book, feel free to take it home to read and return it (or not!).

Saturday Clean-Up a Success!

Thank you to Norma Bailey, Jane Douglas, Daria Kingman, Mary Anne Kryscio, Jim Dealing, Jennifer Davis, Daniel Davis, Darlene Ritchie, and Kirsten King for all their work on Saturday, April 29, cleaning up and beautifying our grounds! Beds were cleaned out, bushes trimmed, sidewalks edged and the rain barrel put out, and then we enjoyed a warm chili lunch and great conversation!

Outside Church Clean-Up

Saturday, April 29 from 10-noon
Now that spring is here (?!), we are planning a clean-up of the outside of our building! We’ll pick up sticks, rake, weed, edge sidewalks, and wash windows, so please bring rakes, gloves, weeding tools, and clippers; we’ll provide the other materials and snacks! Please text, call, or email any one of the Building Team members – Norma Bailey, Jerry Cavalieri, Daniel Davis, or Jen Prout and let us know you’re coming to help beautify our church grounds!

Save the Date for Building Clean-up - March 4

Please join us for our indoor clean-up at the Fellowship on Saturday, March 4, from 10:00-12:00 as we ready our building for our 20th anniversary celebration. We’ll wash windows and blinds, wipe down walls, wipe down chairs in the sanctuary and Fellowship Hall, and do some touch-up painting. All materials will be provided as well as some tasty snacks!
