We are going to have a Plant Sale on October 12 and want to invite you to share your houseplants and/or perennials when you thin them out. Our garden experts, Brigitte Bechtold and Jim Dealing, will be there to answer any questions you might have. If you plan to participate, let Gisela Moffit know which plants you are going to bring. All proceeds will go to the Building and Grounds Fund to purchase new bushes and flowers around our building.
It’s time for our spring clean-up this year. Your building team (Deb Allore, Norma Bailey, James Hatcher and Kris Los) has planned a half-day inside-the-building cleaning for Saturday, June 22, from 9 am to noon. We’ll have all the cleaning supplies ready for you. All you need to do is show up, whether you can come for 30 minutes or the whole three hours. Remember – many hands make the work light!
It is time to start thinking about spring cleaning in the summer! Please consider helping out with the following summer cleaning opportunities:
At the annual meeting on May 20, many suggestions were made for ways to utilize extra monies that were pledged for the 2017-2018 year. While we won’t be spending any money from those pledges at this point, we are forming a building team to prioritize those suggestions. If you are interested in serving on this team (one, maybe two, meetings this fall), please contact Laura McBride (989-772-5512 or firstname.lastname@example.org).
