Our new contract with CMU Public Media begins January 4, 2021. Our collection of $1315 gives us the usual 60 spots plus an additional 17 spots. You will hear “Support for WCMU comes from the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Central Michigan. Their virtual welcoming church services are Sunday at 10:30am. More information is available on the web at U-U-F-C-M dot org.” Listen at various times, including the new time of “The Beat” Saturdays between 1-4pm. Thank you to those who contributed, and to Mary Alsager for organizing this effort.
Please consider donating to CMU Public Radio by November 30. We pool our donations annually to “buy” some radio air time. Last year we gathered about $1200, which gave us two spots every second week. Please consider making a donation to CMU Public Media. UUFCM annually pools our donations to purchase air time on CMU Public Radio. We typically raise enough get two radio spots weekly for 8-9 months – about $900. We have collected $760 so far, so we are close! Please write your check to CMU Public Media and give it to Mary Alsager. She will be collecting through October.
