The board of trustees has approved some new policies for Fellowship gatherings as we seek to reconnect in person safely. Right now, small groups up to ten people can meet in person if they wish, or continue meeting on Zoom – or do a mixture. This includes all of our committees and the board itself. We will do our best to publish how meetings are going to be held, and please check with the leader of each meeting if you're not sure. We are planning for in-person worship beginning on August 15. The worship will also be shared on Zoom, allowing people to connect however they are most comfortable. In-person attendance will be limited to about 20 people to allow for social distancing and masks will be required. People will be asked to sign up to reserve a space in the week before the service. Of course, the new guidelines are subject to change. UUFCM leaders are doing their best to balance safety with the importance of connecting in person. Please fill out our survey to express your opinions and concerns. |
