Google Workspace Workshops - Round 2 Beginning July 18!

To help us more efficiently and effectively communicate with one another in accomplishing the “business” of the church, the Board has decided to use Google Workspace for all UUFCM documentation. This includes how we send and receive documents, sign up for hospitality, vote when needed, etc. Our goal is to have everyone functioning with Google Workspace by September 12 when the fall church year starts.

All workshops will be held in person in the fellowship hall and require a laptop.

Round 1 - beginning July 11
For this ~1 hour workshop, everyone needs to have a Gmail account – either an existing account or create a new one for church business.

In this workshop you will learn to:

• ​create an account
• compose emails
• search for emails
• create folders
• bookmark your Gmail account
• understand the differences between the Primary, Social, and Promotions tabs

Round 2 - beginning July 18
For this ~1.5-2 hour workshop, everyone will need to know how to use the basic elements of Google Workspace. Numbers are limited to 10 - you must SIGN UP by calling or texting Jennifer or Debbie.

In this workshop you will learn to:

• ​create documents, and view, edit,
  and/or make comments
• create slides
• use Google Calendar
• use Google Drive: folders, sharing, etc.
